Pool Features

CLC Pool’s philosophy for building custom concrete pools  means only using the best quality materials and workmanship from the start. Considered to be upgrades and extra charges from other pool builders, each and every one of our pools includes the following features:

EXCAVATION

Machinery Excavation of pool includes excavator and track loader
Grading Rough grade area to allow water to flow away from pool shell

INTERIOR

Shell 1/2 inch steel reinforced rods are encased with Shotcrete at a minimum width of 10 inches. Shotcrete is a concrete mixture that produces the strongest compressive strength and durability.
Depth 3-foot shallow end sloping to a 5- to 8-foot deep end. (Depth based upon pool size and customer needs)
Access/Egress One set of solid concrete steps in the shallow end with one 12-inch wide, 6-foot length bench at approximately 18-inch finished depth located on one side of the steps. One 6-foot length swim out (width varies) at approximately 18-inch finished depth in the deep end.
Tile A 6-inch tile band located below the coping – Three Choices Available
Finish Hand troweled white Marbilite plaster

Plumbing Piping All piping sized at 2 inches O.D. and encased in sand

ELECTRIC

All Hookups by Licensed Electrician

Service 40 AMP service located on a permanent panel adjacent to the pool equipment
Supply Line Provide electric connection from the existing electric panel and extending up to 100 feet in length using underground conduit to current codes. Piping encased in sand.
Pool Light One 500-watt incandescent stainless steel pool light
Equipment Hook-up Connect and bond standard pump, heater, and cleaner to electric panel located adjacent to the equipment
Equipment Controls Standard pump and heater controlled by a manual timer. Pool light controlled by a manual switch. Switch and timers located on electric panel.

POOL START UP

Chemicals Jack’s Magic™ Blue Stuff start-up provided to owner for use when pool is initially filled with water. Assists in preventing stains and removing staining metals from water used to fill pool.
Indoctrination Once pool is filled with water, provide a certified pool maintenance specialist to start pool equipment and review equipment operation and maintenance with the homeowner.
Cleaning Kit One 16-foot brush/net with telescoping handle, water test kit, and 50-foot backwash hose
